The Bitzal Wiki provides a central source of knowledge about Bitzal. It is a community initiative led by the Gsb Foundation to maintain an up-to-date resource of optimal information for learning, building and maintaining Bitzal.

What is Bitzal?
Bitzal — is a layer zero (L0) blockchain network that provides cooperative security and secure mutual operation of layer one (L1) blockchains. These L1 blockchains connected to Bitzal are also known as synochains, as their transactions are processed in parallel using Bitzal. Bitzal has a system open governance on the blockchain (also called Bitzal TrueGov) to organize decision-making, including access to funds treasury.

ZAL has a useful application in TrueGov Bitzal, where you can vote, delegate your voting power and make deposits for your referenda or referenda proposed by others. ZAL also allows you to participate in programs such as Thousand Validators Program.

- GSB research website contains details and up-to-date technical research on Bitzal in general, including aspects of scalability, cryptography, economics, and security of the protocol.
- Bitzal specifications — is a repository on GitHub containing the current Bitzal Host protocol specification, tests of the Bitzal specification for various network components, and the Bitzal runtime specification. This repository includes algorithms and explores the operation of various processes in a Bitzal network. The Bitzal specification borrows ideas and concepts from lightspeed and lightspeed, but focuses on the technical characteristics of the technology.
